About the Photo

To get a photo like this, planning needs to intersect with a little bit of luck. When working on a project like this one for Uncharted, I do a lot of research before even arriving to the area. I then scout locations and try to imagine a scene with something happening, like this moment of the hiker timed with a beautiful sunset. When I show up, I'm often disappointed that nothing is happening, but I wait. And waiting paid off when this hiker showed up and dazzled the scene with his personality. (Photo by Alan M. The 252-piece set is 10x14 inches and the 500-piece set is 16x20 inches.
